Bowe’s Buddies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster-based organization that supports the Allen Animal Shelter by placing dogs and cats into temporary foster homes. Our goal is to give animals the time and care they need to become adoption-ready.

We foster dogs and cats that are in the care of the Allen Animal Shelter. This includes animals that are too young for adoption, recovering from medical treatment, in need of socialization, or simply not thriving in the shelter environment.
